The Inevitable Ratings System

It occurs to me that people who read my filmic discussions might have a hard time grasping how I feel about the movie on a scale of say, oh I don't know, one to five. Hence, I'm going to join the ratings system bandwagon and conclude each of my reviews from now on with such a scale. I even have an idea of how to put my own personal stamp on the whole thing. It's something that, despite being a fairly big part of my life, has been mostly absent in this blog. I'll give you three guesses as to what.

**
I'm going to steal the meanings of my ratings from Netflix. For those unfamiliar:
1) Hated it
2) Didn't like it
3) Liked it
4) Really liked it
5) Loved it.

Good to see you joining the ranking system. I always enjoyed your opinions on films, but it always felt somewhat incomplete because their was never a stamp at he end. My guess would be, it has something to do with The Office :)

Is it 1 2 3 4 5? Is it pie? Is it a square root?
I thought about doing ratings as well but somehow havnt really gotten around to doing it...

All three and more, Vanessa. I'm gonna make my ratings system math themed. Good guessing!

I resisted doing a ratings system for awhile because I wanted my words to create a sense of how I felt about a particular film, but I'm not as articulate as I'd like to be, so this should help.

Geometry
Algebra
Trigonometry
Finite Math
Calculus

I can't name that many other "maths." :D

Not so fun fact: Fletch Lives contains a character named Calculus.

Just so long as you included Trigonometry. It's one of my favorites. Although, Calculus does have its moments.
