It seems that I'll get to hear at least a couple more Jon Foreman solo tracks before the year is out. I just learned that he'll be releasing Limbs and Branches which is to be a compilation of tracks from the four EPs he's released. Supposedly, the tracks are to be chosen by fans in a sort of vote situation. In addition to the previously released tracks, the new album will likely include a few new songs from Foreman.
I'm excited. While Limbs and Branches is to be released in October of this year, the next Switchfoot album is currently being recorded with a release scheduled for early 2009 it seems. The last time I had checked it was Fall 2008, so I hope the extra time truly serves to create a finer record.
